Please does anyone have any recommendations for where I could buy a black leather jacket (very fitted style, maybe biker style or similar)... all suggestions welcome, hence not stating a price. I am 5'8" size 10 - 12. Thanks very much.

NappiesGalore · 29/09/2008 15:58

why why why? (the capelet) (is that even a word? it shouldnt be)

MrsSnorty · 29/09/2008 15:59

Superdry have good ones. Don't know how to do links though!

kate34 · 29/09/2008 17:16

Zara. I bought one last year & a black bomber with a detatchable hood (useful for long hair flapping in rainy weather) 2 months ago. Both around £90. Good quality leather-really soft. Had many compliments. Wear well-last year's is really soft & worn looking now. Wore it all winter, tight fitting but room for cashmere cardigan underneath when really cold. So fab with skinny jeans or a party dress. Definetly better leather than the likes of Topshop. All Saints leather jackets always good too but quite a bit pricier

MrsCurly · 29/09/2008 17:25

What about this one - bit pricier but lovely looking www.whistles.co.uk/fcp/product/-/Jackets/Rib-Collar-Leather-Bomber-Jacket/903000051516

noddyholder · 29/09/2008 17:28

I bought one from topshop last winter still love it

NappiesGalore · 29/09/2008 17:28

Szyslak · 29/09/2008 18:10

Joe brown has a grogeous one that i am contemplating.

Can't do links for some reason, can someone help?

DarrellRivers · 29/09/2008 18:14

All Saints -gorgeous but one had a hood, so I looked like I had an ASbo and should be drinking cider in the park after dark
Zara-bought one for £100, it is lovely, soft leather, funnel neck line
Jigsaw-was about £400 and was quilted
Whistles was nice £250 but buttons rahter than zip

NotCod · 29/09/2008 18:33

i f elt stupid in leather tbh
