Please help - wedding in hot country and flummoxed

I would be grateful for some inspiration as feel a bit like a headless chicken at the moment.

Going to a wedding in Dubai at the end of November so need a summerish dress. Hate my arms so need something that covers most of them and everything I see that is suitable seems sleeveless. Am in 40s size 10-12 but curvy. Loved the dress Meryl Streep wore to the wedding in Mama Mia. All suggestions gratefully as I feel hopelessly uninspired.

Sleeveless will probably be the most comfortable if it's hot - could you get a matching wrap to hide the tops of your arms? That's what my mum did for my wedding (Carribean) If you get a really thin one you won't feel hot from it, and it will protect you from the sun if you're outdoors.

meryl streep

A cotton dress would be cool. Sleeves can be cool. You will probably be in air conditioned places most of the time.

You like turquoise/green and prints then?

I've looked a bit but couldn't see anything like it yet.

Thanks for the suggestions - I love turquoise and it is my colour but am not a great print lover and don't actually own a dress but do wear lots of skirts. if the damn wedding was happening here I don't think I would have a problem. I suppose I really don't want to go but have to so that is adding to the difficulty.

Would the jungle floral print dress from East www.east.co.uk/c/dresses+print.htlm with accompanying shrug/cardi be suitable? They are also reduced. If so any idea whether they are small sizes or big (not sure if I would need 10 or 12)

Oh yes I saw that one it's lovely. Might create the look you are after. I've travelled through dubai in March. It might not be too hot in November and I'm sure you will be glad you went.
I was at a wedding in Pakistan in March. Was wearing cotton Shalwar Kamiz and I wasn't too uncomfortable.
I'd try the 12 so it will be slightly loose perhaps, not clingy.

I also love turquoise
