It's at the end of October and I have no idea what to wear. I am 5'2" and size 16/18 and I really don't think I can wear a skirt or dress as I have trunk legs. I did think of somthing like this

trousers in brown

blouse

and

shoes

but I think it looks like I have come straight from an office! Please help [clueless]

Maybe a fancier top?

andyrobo237 · 29/09/2008 20:35

Similar size to me - I am loving the trousers as I can see the potential to re-use them often - may have to get myself a pair!

Not liking the blouse - too officey and plain!

The fashonistas on here will need more details - budget, long or short sleeves, fitted or floaty - trying to hide arms or tum or bum or in good proportion!

LadyOfWaffle · 30/09/2008 12:22

I am clueless with the top! Shall I stick to white/cream or can I go with a colour with brown trousers?

Agree - a different top would work better. YOu could go for something in duck egg blue, or a darker teal colour, or maybe orange, or red, if you fancied?

JackieNo · 30/09/2008 12:40

Something like this,
scarlet
Angora

LadyOfWaffle · 30/09/2008 12:43

LOVE the angora! Silk and post baby tyres really won't mix though for the others

purple?

I'm not sure about purple - might work. I like the shape of that top though.

If you liked the angora one, Laura Ashley has some similar ones in colours that might work:
turquoise (actually maybe a bit too bright)
red
green
dark brown (but that's a bit too dark, imo).

PortAndLemon · 30/09/2008 12:52

This?

LadyOfWaffle · 30/09/2008 13:16

love those 4, esp. the green. Bravissimo might be a little casual but I love it. Have massive chest so may be abit boobylicious (!?) too

Agree, that Bravissimo one is a fab shape. Maybe try something else from Bravissimo instead? A bit fancier.
There's this too, but it's maybe a bit too summery.
