What foundation do you wear?

I have recently bought the L'Oreal mineral makeup, but have decided it is too heavy and cakey looking on my skin.
I think I need a liquid foundation again, but which one?
Am mid-forties, normalish skin, some broken veins to cover up and v dark under-eye circles.
What do people like, ideally under £10, but will spend more for a guaranteed miracle-working formula!

Clinique repairwear is great.

I don't wear foundation in the day but when I do it HAS to be Dior's Diorskin Pure Light. Perfect. I've tried loads, from cheap to £££ and none (apart from this one) give me the perfect skin but no foundation look.

dior airflash.........I can guarantee you will NEVER go back to your old one. .

Perfection each time...easy to apply and ever so light.

I use Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser in the summer, Chantecaille tinted moisturiser in the winter. LM one is shiny/dewy, Chantecaille matt.

and sometimes in the evening a bobbi brown one, comes in a bottle.

What about for us with chip pan faces??

piratecat · 28/09/2008 21:26

clarins teint eclat confort, spf 15.

i have combo skin, it's not drying on my dry bits, nor does it 'sit' in the lines. also controls any shiny bits.

about £20 but one tube lasts me about 10 months!

Thank you for all the suggestions. I am off to town now to buy pyjamas for three children as I only noticed last night that none of them had a single pair that wasn't at least two inches too short in both legs and arms . I will check out some of your recommendations and report back!
