mounmental COCK-UP means i have two pairs of laceless converse that i really don't want to have to ship back to the US - does anyone want a pair (£50)?

US website has incorrect sizing chart

so i have two pairs in a UK size 6.5 when i need size 6

they are just that bit too big

before i ship them back i thought i'd see if anyone wanted them here

they are in chocolate brown and natural

i paid $130 inc shipping plus have had a $55 duty bill

so in total they cost £101 or thereabouts

i'm happy to pay postage to whoever wants them (in UK)

Ahh, if I had the money, I would have definitely bought the natural off you. Can't afford it this week so if you still have them next week, I will have them.

i am a 5 and i already have 3 pairs of converse.. there was a shoe shop near us closing down a year or two back and all their converse were £8 a pair. got pink ones for DD which she has just grown out of

none of which helps you, obviously!

If you got some insoles to put in them would they fit then?

I am usually a 6 but my feet grow to giant proportions whilst pregnant and I love the Converse with jeans and nice tops when I am pregnant.

you can get hold of them in this country, but it's tricky - not many colours available, and nothing in my size (see threads passim)

I bought $300 worth of clothes from The States and my duty charges were £14!
Think someone made an accounting error!!

Shoes and clothes are charged at different rates, even differing types of garment- eg woollens, tweed, blazers, sportswear, childrenswear etc etc
It is a bizarre, antiquated system.

I take a 5 but my Converse are a 5.5 I can wear them with insoles no problem.

all those nosey interested parties that had a look at my kitchen when i listed my dutailier chair can now peek at my kitchen worktop too

Tutter - what size are they on the label - my converse are a 39. If they are a 39 or a 39.5 I will buy the natural ones off you if you still have them.
