One Small Step have some lovely Max & May boots in brown. Side zip to the ankle and a butterfly fringe sort of thing.

I bought some for DD today in Peacocks! They are black ankle boots with a large bow thing on the side. The bow isn't dangly or overly massive. They are really lovely and only cost £8. They have a zip on the inside leg bit. They don't show kids stuff on their site though.

I also saw the same boots but in a suede material in QS, not sure on the price though.

piratecat · 26/09/2008 12:07

AramintaAlice · 26/09/2008 13:20

Ugh yes. I was thinking the exact same thing about those Cod, lol.

I'd never get my 6 y/o daughter to wear those and shes not even particularly fussy!

FrockHorror · 26/09/2008 13:22

I did a store locator thing for peacocks in Edinburgh but apparently the nearest one is Dunfermline (sp). It really is worth a look.

Or, I could pick you up a pair and send them to you if that is too far for you to go? I'll try and attach a pic of DD's to my profile (have no idea how so give it a while )

AramintaAlice · 26/09/2008 13:22

Ohhhhh...sorry Cod...and thx Nail..yes the pink are nice. I only saw the blue clompers too lol
