I do not want to wear pjs anymore

I want a big ole comfy nightie

no mickey mouse

no broderie anglaise

am finding little of use in my usual haunts (inc. La Senza, the Scope charity shop)

they had some really cool proper old fashioned victorian (stylee, im no historian tho) floor length white cotton nighties in a little boutique in winchester last year... helpful? moi? but of course!
i really wanted one. but i wanted a dress more and the dress won. i might go back and take a look soon...

NappiesGalore · 25/09/2008 17:16

was in a tkmaxx is southampton yesterday and they had a surprising array of styles of nightwear too (dont remember any old lady ones, but wasnt looking for them. coulda been there)

Cappuccino · 25/09/2008 17:17

I've also been looking and nearly gave up until I found this:
white company
They do this in a lovely brown called rich noisette - don't know what colour you're looking for but I've got 3 boys and there are no pale colours worn in our house!

barking · 25/09/2008 17:19

here is the short version in the brown

barking · 25/09/2008 17:22

very expensive but lovely toast nighties
they even do a cashmere one

NappiesGalore · 25/09/2008 17:26

the ones in the wee shop in winchester were really nice....

Cappuccino · 25/09/2008 17:27

Combustiblelemon · 25/09/2008 17:28

Marks do this and this as well.

MadBadandDangeroustoKnow · 25/09/2008 17:29

Primark and most of the other chains have t-shirt stylee nighties too

wessexgirl · 25/09/2008 17:31

Ooh, I could convert to nighties, having seen those White Company ones.

NappiesGalore · 25/09/2008 17:32

ah well if you like the white co one, then you def ought to check out tkmaxx. (i feel like im saying that a lot recently, tis prob getting v boring now)
i got really nice pjs in there yesterday (am more a pjs girl than a nighty one) for 15 quid. better than the 95 i was sorely tempted to pay for hush silk ones.

Cappuccino · 25/09/2008 17:34

well I am quite excited because I am going to have to go somewhere with a TK Maxx for work soon, we don't have one
