How old were you when you started wearing make up on a daily basis?

Having a discussion in the office as colleagues daughters put full slap on before going to school - they are 13 and 15.

I remember taking lipstick to secondary school but being told to wipe it off.

Think I was about 16/17 and in college.

yeah 16

then a gap

then 23

then 35

probably 16 or so

had terrible skin

About 13/14 I think.

16 when I started my Saturday job on the Boots No7 counter.

Wasn't tarty - was one of the good girls.

It was just that I was ugly and had bad skin, and went to a slack school.

And the jade green eyeshadow, electric blue eyeliner and pink shimmer lipstick helped loads

I'm 40
and I still haven't!
not on a daily basis anyway.
only occasional, when I go out (very occasional!)

Wasn't allowed to wear make-up before 15. I did anyway, but it was quite a good lesson in applying it subtly!

37 and counting, although i did wonder this morning whether it might make me feel a bit more like a grown-up...
might try it one day

About 13/14 years old. Not at school though it wasn't allowed until we were over 16.

18 when I started uni. We weren't allowed to wear any make-up at school apart from at the weekends.

Can't see myself bothering to wear make-up on a daily basis unless my dh does too. (yeuch, horrible thought) Am 43 and no one has run away screaming (yet).

I still think I will when I'm a grown-up. I've just turned 35 though

I'm 42 and haven't got there either!

About 14 I think - no restrictions at school. But less at university and in my early 20s, very rarely wear it now though I do still carry a make up bag round with me.

I'm 34 and still don't wear it regularly.

bout 13 but stopped about 19 and haven't worn any since.

I was born with MAC blusher and Bobbi Brown foundation on.

am 36. always wear it for work- at least for last 5 years. at weekends it depends how much other stuff i am doing. quite often dont bother til monday morning

im still waiting to be old enough to wear make up daily. im 26.

I think about 14. God, when I look back at how badly I used to apply it, horrible.
