They also do a short version (you can see it top right on same link) but my legs are not my best bit at the moment.

I really don't want to wear trousers because I do it every day.

Ah ha perfect I have a Charcoal Fenn Wright and Mason velvet skirt and jacket suit you could borrow, I could take a photo if you're interested.
Just thinking as you only tend wear these things once, you could splash out on shoes and a top.

What an amazingly generous offer, that sounds amazing but I may be cutting it too fine. It's on Saturday!!!! If you are in S/W London we are on a winner though.

I'm OOOOp North, could send it first class, I'll get snapping this afternoon. See what you think of it.

Thank you everyone, and an especially huge thank you to KatieDD for being so thoughtful and generous.

Bought this today

this is the one

It is not my usual thing but looks good on, great neck line, nipped in waist and then flares over hideous hips! Still quite dressy and will see me through Christmas.

Thanks again

Naming day was today - the sun shone and all was good with the world x x x

The dress worked a treat, spanx 7 very high heels as it was rather 50s inspired did the hot rollers thing and had big fat curls.

Thanks all and a good night for a slightly squiffy, happy mummy
