Rosacea - laser treatment for the dilated blood vessels.

Anyone had this treatment or know someone who has? It ain't cheap, I know that much, but does it make a difference?

I don't think I had rosacea but I did have bad scarring on my nose and burst blood vessels from acne. The laser was magic. At first though my nose went black and scabby (eek!) but then I was blood vessel free for about 15 years. I now have the odd vessel creeping back and may have another treatment at some point in the future. Do get a reputable person to do it. Mine was an NHS dermatology consultant who did it privately at a clinic.

Thanks for answering. My old family GP is now a dermatology consultant and she has recommended a clinic which is primarily a medical rather than cosmetic. I will investigate further but good to have a real life positive experience. Really appreciate your response.
