Does anyone know of a company that do really nice petite jeans?

I'm 5ft and I'm stuck with M&S and Principles - I'm looking for something more Gap-ish IYKWIM.

I'm sitting here in perfectly fitting skinny jeans from (whisper it) the Littlewoods Catalogue.

I'm the same height as you and I tend to use Next or River Island. My fave jeans brand really is Miss Sixty but I always have to have them altered, obviously!

Monsoon have some nice petite jeans, they wear really well. Next are also good and they last for ages. Dorothy Perkins are not so good, they go very baggy.

It is hard tbh.

I always seem to end up in Dorothy Perkins.

Next is the best place ive found and the prices are reasonable too.

I always found they were slightly too short for me yet now I have to have altered because they are too long!

This is possible. ds was wearing age 5 boys clothes for about 3 years because they were making them bigger.

Have you tried Gap then?

I am 5ft 1' and I have a lovely pair from Gap and amazingly they're from their 'Long and Lean' range!

Otherwise another vote for Next, tho seasons change....one minute they fit really well but the next, I find them too long. If I find a good pair then I now try and buy 2 pairs at once - if my budget allows

I'm only five 1" but next petite is too short for me. Don't really understand how this can be. I tend to wear a 30 inch with high shoes (2 inches at least).

It's not that hard to get 30 inch jeans.
