can birkenstocks be washed?

Those are gorgeous Selks but I can't do toe posts ... Still, I could order a couple of styles to try, couldn't I?

Selks-I agree that style is def the best. Millie the toeposts are soft so no rubbing issues. I like the birko flo types as you don't have to break them in. I've got bronze ones and they go with everything and are still going strong after 3 years.
