Adult ladies with a zip all the way down on the front (I really don't want to pull it on over my head)

Not sure if it is of help or not, but I have a fleece which is zip all the way down, made by Regatta. This looks like the one or is very similar. Online price £9.99 (at time of looking) with delivery probably £5 - so £15 for 1, £25 for 2.
When you say a Ladies fleece, is it all that different to a mans fleece? Do they even come in Lady/Man styles? X-Small one has chest size of 36 inches (see size chart).

Mans/ladies doesn't really matter as long as they do smaller sizes (not for me as you know)

how about this or is that the wrong purple? (Note: this looks like it has a logo on it, so you may need to have right side embroidered, rather than left)

Seems as though Regatta may use Beet to describe the colour you desire - as in this example.

beet is very pink......

How about visiting Venture Sport and physically seeing a selection of colours from the major manufacturers. Venture Sport may even have something you like in stock, if not they may be able to order it.
I think finding something on-line is going to be tricky due to the colour you want.
