I ahve had teh same hair style since I was 11. (that's not good)

Long, with a fringe, only now I have highlights.

I was thinking shorter (eek), choppier and darker (double eek)

Go for it.

Hair grows.

I am currently toying with cutting mine off too.

Have been to hairdresser 3 times and bottled out lol.

Just can't seem to go through with it.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 18/09/2008 17:59

Yes

I have v short hair, am a Big Fan.

Low maintenance, no faff, no need to burn your fingers on the straighteners.

Go for it.

As soupy says, hair grows.

DrNortherner · 18/09/2008 18:01

Oh no I don't mean short!

I mean just below my shoulders (that is radical fro me)

Now I have been thinking the same thing - Mine is long and staright (when the ghd's are run through uit) or long and curly.

Saw a great shoulder length cut with flickd out ends

squeaver · 18/09/2008 18:07

Get it cut. You will NOT regret it. You'll be amazed how much easier it is to look after. You will look YEARS younger.

I think grown women who are scared of a pair of scissors are a bit pathetic tbh.

squeaver · 18/09/2008 18:09

Sorry, that was a bit harsh. But just do it.

malovitt · 18/09/2008 18:11

My hair always inexplicably looks really, really good on the morning of my 'got to do something drastic' hair appointments, which makes me waver.

DrNortherner · 18/09/2008 21:10

Well I am going tomorrow and I am doing it...

MrsSchadenfreude · 18/09/2008 23:22

Go for it. I had my long curly hair chopped off into a bob last week. Apart from the Sandra Dee comments I am very pleased with it.

DedeGoodDeeds · 18/09/2008 23:26

My love, you only live once! What do you have to lose but split ends?

Do it!

Dede x

MamaG · 19/09/2008 11:18

A. Did you do it?
B. Are you going to post a pic?
