Maybe a silly question, but are they "in"?

I am an older Mn but am in good shape- but I remember wearing them in my teens in the 70s!

I fancy one, but want to make sure they are not mumsy?

As long as it isn't knitted by your Gran you should be ok.

girlsnextdoor · 14/09/2008 18:38

I got a lovely one in Ted Baker, and surprisingly I recently saw a lovely one in Austin Reed (tho would be more for work, not casual)

MingMingtheWonderPet · 14/09/2008 18:39

Austin Reed

anyfucker · 14/09/2008 18:42

I am an 'older' mn too

girlsnextdoor · 14/09/2008 18:59

I got a green one from white stuff- i cant do links think it was £35 wore it with white long sleeved t shirt underneath also got one from next which is beige and more chunky

janeite · 14/09/2008 19:04

I like them for work, mainly to hide my norks! I tend to wear them with a long sleeved T-shirt rather than a shirt, except for parents' evening, when I'll wear a shirt. I have a lovely one from Coast and a less lovely one from Next.

M&S have these:
knitted waistcoat which are really quite cute irl.

girlsnextdoor · 14/09/2008 19:08

are fairisle style "out"- white stuff do one which is patterned.

anyfucker · 14/09/2008 19:22

savoycabbage · 14/09/2008 19:30

Lovely plain ones in Zara, only £9 and almost identical to the £30 Boden ones. I'm old too and find they're a good alternative to cardigans now I seem to be getting hot flushes!

girlsnextdoor · 14/09/2008 20:53

lol...BG- ditto

kt14 · 14/09/2008 20:56

try Boden (make sure you use a discount code though, they've permanently got 15% off!), my sister's ordered a couple from their new range and really likes them.
I like them but they do nothing for my big old knockers unfortunately.

Heated · 14/09/2008 21:03

I like this and this looks better in the flesh

MingMingtheWonderPet · 14/09/2008 21:20

That white company one does look nice.
