Can we talk about winter boots... again...sorry

Ok so I love boots and cant wait to get a new pair for the winter.

The trouble is I'm a creature of habit, and if someone doesnt slap some sense into me, I will end up buying a pair of black stilleto pointy toed type fellas the same as I have done EVERY year since well forever.

Now the problems are:

I know they are not trendy - they are far far away from "in"

I dont work in a smart office anymore, so cant even use that as an excuse - I'm a SAHM.

I'll look like a prozzy tottering around our local shopping centre

Can anyone tell me what sort of boots I should and will buy...

Ideally no more than £100, some sort of heel (please, please, please) as I'm 5"1, - anything flat makes my legs look like tree trunks, go with lots skirts so I look fashionable and cool.

Please, thank you, lots.

I always go to duoboots because they do different calf measurements so you can get the right fit
