Has anyone seen the new Joules autumn brochure?

So disappointed, am thinking they've lost their way a bit. Normally get a few nice coloured hoodies or l/s t shirts but it's gone ridiculously preppy and horsey this season and the colours are beyond vile.

www.joulesclothing.com/category/Womens_JacketsandWaistcoats.htm - yuck. Would anyone really buy anything on here or is it just me?

you'd look a prat wearing this in tesco especially the blue, people would think you worked for easyjet

FranSanDisco · 12/09/2008 19:32

I have ordered ds 6yo a few bits but nothing for me.

PetitFilou1 · 12/09/2008 19:32

omg that jacket is hideous

JuneBugJen · 12/09/2008 19:33

Loved the summer stuff, not quite so keen this season. Will have to wait till next year to decide if my good opinion is withheld forever.

And can we all say a big OK YAH please?

kt14 · 12/09/2008 19:34

I know, it's totally hideous and not even cheap.
I predict them having a big old mid season sale this year.

people would think you'd been playing polo in this one

cthea · 12/09/2008 19:36

And why does so much of their stuff has Joules written on it? Even if it's down on the side or ever so discreetly on the back, it's still trash.

PetitFilou1 · 12/09/2008 19:38

why else would you wear it - might as well wear a badge saying i am a rich horsey type

southeastastra · 12/09/2008 19:38

i like this mousey though

kt14 · 12/09/2008 19:38

Am a bit ashamed to go out in my Joules raincoat now. The logo is very discreet though, and plain cream, no lapels, stripes or big gilt buttons. And it was in the sale..

Its mostly pretty vile - i know a few women who wear a lot of the polo/sweat shirts emblazoned with joules - whyyyyy???

Did get 4 year old DS nice stripey zippy top though in green and navy but thats it.

southeastastra · 12/09/2008 19:40

it's sloane wear isn't it, horses and boats

kt14 · 12/09/2008 19:41

and it's not a snooty brand where we live (in the sticks, and not the posh home counties ones), it's a functional one for farming folk and they sell it cheap at our local country stores!
Never even heard of Joules before we moved out of a place with decent shops.

let me know if anyone spots someone in that blue blazer

traceybath · 12/09/2008 19:50

yeap - first place i saw it was countrywide whilst looking at hideous orange fencing
