If you measure your waist, do you measure around your navel, or a bit higher where it is narrower??

Maybe I'm an odd shape, but if I measure around my tummy button that is not the narrowest point of my 'torso'. Is your waist the narrowest bit, or is your waist around your tummy button?

OH it's just so confusing

waist is the narrow bit.

all tummy buttons are in different places on different people IMHO.

Def the narrowest bit (doesn't everyone? )

Natural waist is the curvy thin bit - well not on me it's not, but in theory!!

The narrowest bit, if you go much lower you're going to measure your high hip. My belly button is lower than my waist line, I think it does vary but I haven't measured many people under their top.
