Their lip balm is fab!

expatinscotland · 11/09/2008 19:40

I used to.

I agree about the lip balm 100% - both in a pot and the stick.

The yellow body lotion is fab as is the blue toner and the hair conditioner.

I'd forgotten about Kiehl's.

They do a pear bubble bath that I LOVE, it is limited edition and you can't get it in the UK . I sometimes use the baby wash on DS; it doesn't smell terribly natural! even though it is, but it is very gentle. And the Creme de Corp is fab, as you know.

expatinscotland · 11/09/2008 19:44

that's the lotion i was thinking of! creme de corps.

it's fab.

the conditioner was one of the best i have ever used.
the kiels in new york will also give you about 10000000 samples (just tell them what you are interested in and they will give you a huge bag - i keep them for travelling ....

some great skin care products .....

Kiehl's Creme de Corps body lotion is fab. AND they now do a Creme de Corps shower wash!!!!!!!!!!!! Equally fab in the middle of winter when my skin decides to fall off in protest at the lack of sun.

The olive shampoo & conditioner makes my hair (thick, wavy curly, used to be super-soft, now getting coarser with age) all frizzy. I think it would be better for hair that isn't thick/wavy - or, perhaps to be honest, is younger than mine.

I like the tea tree shampoo - it has a faint sandalwood touch which reminds me of the long-gone days of dousing self in patchouli oil. But rather subtler. I also kid myself it means I won't get nits.

The heavy-duty conditioner (think it's called something along those lines) is good, though also tends a bit to frizzifying. The leave-in conditioner (coconutty scent, like gorse flowers in May) is excellent and suppresses frizz well. Also recently have taken to their silk groom serum, for same reason.

Big reason I like Kiehl's so much is the subtlety of the scents - when you're used to those, everything else catches the back of your throat.

Dh uses the amino acid shampoo & looks nice; but then he has ridiculously good hair for a man of his age.

The hand cream - only thing which works on my crusty knuckles. Isn't too greasy and easily absorbed.
