HELP! I need a cool rain jacket and i need it NOW!!

or rather, i would have needed it this afternoon when i was forced by a saturation with Peppa Pig to take my dd to the playground in the pouring rain...

so i want a rainjacket (not a raincoat, i have nice ones for work), with a hood, that looks COOL/STYliSH and not too mumsy. I want to buy it online and i want it delivered asap.

oooh I like the Howies one, but it is quite pricey. Also, would like something that is more 3/4s length. Has anyone been to TopShop lately? Do they have anything in?

Ggirl, that's weird, the website is colour when I look at it. The Planet coat is slate grey with a hint of brown. It is lovely material.

Does this meet the brief? It's a lot cheaper but still way over Millet's prices...

i ended up ordering the patagonia one from the natural collection website, i found a discount code on the internet... i will keep you posted!

was in debenhams yesterday and saw a cream/white john rocha waterproof 3/4 coat.
shinish like a cagoule and no warmth to it but it had a hood. was tempted but not too sure as it had a crinkle effect to the fabric - also £65. no really selling it am i!! not a practical colour but machine on every dauy anyway. not yet on debenhams website....

Its practical and mumsy without being frump overload! Well done ladies (especially Patsy).

Will prob find that there will be 20 of these coats in the playground next week...
