40s style shoes needed

Help!

I need to find some late 40s style shoes to wear.

The dress I will be wearing is a yellow floral number, with blue and a red/pink colour to the flowers in places, and it has a large white collar. There is also a wide navy belt for the waist.

I am a size 3-3.5

And I want to spend as little as possible, as chanes are I won't wear them again!

Whenever we do a 40's show we use character shoes, you can get them from any dance shop, if you don't want leather they're cheapish - £20 odd quid - usually come in black or nude.

Just been looking at my dress. I think I really do need blue shoes. My dress has a wide navy belt. I think black will look wrong.
