You know, I looked at this thread this morning before rushing dd out to school, and my first thought was 'it's a wig' - it just has that look about it, as RR says - that or she has several TONS of product in her hair, it's not a good look at all. Can't bear J-Lo but she looks lovely.

I feel terribly sorry for her. Whenever I've seen her interviewed or any of the telly she's done, she's come over as funny and fairly intelligent, but lately it's like she has no identity beyond her 'look' and she looks sooo unhappy...

I'm not sure it's a wig - you can see scalp on pic 4.

Picture 6 is the funniest thing ever.

Freemans catalogue circa 1987.

Someone give the poor woman a meal! she looks so very thin and frail to me...

I'm looking at it trying to see "wig" and I can't.

the body language with Jlo speaks volumes...they are doing that postural mirroring thing. but who is the dominant female? Jlo is a hundred times more poised, beautiful and natural, but I like VB and the hair is ok, better than the bleach blonde anyway and the pob was getting boring. Be interesting to see where she goes next as extensions are the only quick answer..

I thought maybe a wig too - do you remember when she pierced her lip (when she did the song with Dane Bowers)and lots of fans copied her only for her to reveal it was a fake. It just reminded me of that scenario...

I really like it and she has had short hair before

She looks even more like a lollipop now.

Maybe she had to cut all her hair off as her poor bony skeleton couldn't take the weight of it?

Shame as I think she used to look lovely (bad skin aside) when she had longer hair and more meat on her bones.

I like her hair. But the reat of her looks weird.

I feel sorry for her, she has lost an ability to live life in a normal fulfilling way, and over the years and fallen deeper and deeper into the lure of celebrity and the bizarre lifestyle that goes with it. Which seems to be endles hair/beauty treatmenst, shopping, photo ops and celebrity parties.

Someone needs to tell her 'give it up Vic, waer some jeans, take the kids to school, enjoy your family and money, if you have to do something get involved with a charity 'on the quiet', honestly, you'll be SO much happier.

And move back to UK. I imagine LA is a weirdy place, it's just going to make you more weirdy.

I'll now spnd the afternoon imagining waht I'd say to VB if she were my friend.

She must ache with all that posing.

I mean, some of those photos are extreme.

Do you think she cringes when she sees them? I'd love to see her on her cousin's wedding photos or summink, posing away at the front, elbowing the bride out of the way.

As for PCOS, I'm dubious about that. She seems to conceive easily, and isn't weight gain a symptom?

I think it's a cover story for the bad skin and excess hair caused by, if not anorexia, then being extremely underweight.Like I know

Poor lass. I feel like sending a Chinese takeaway round to her.

nice to see a bit of sisterly support going on here

she may be very rich etc, however, if she were my daughter i would be very worried about her.

she may have pcos, she may have alopcia (sp)

surely both conditions are worthy of a bit of sympathy instead of derision?

i would imagine her life is very much a case of 'be careful what you wish for!'

"sisterly support" there's a lot of sisterly support on here, from bringback and others, along the lines of get yourself home, put some jeans on, relax, look after your kids, enjoy your money and STOP obsessing about your image. Most people feel sympathy for her in that she can't find her identity and is trying to live her life through the fickle and shallow world of fashion and celebrity.

jesuswhatnext · 09/09/2008 16:25

yes, onceinalifetime, there is 'some' sisterly support on here,. there is also a lot of nasty, judgmental and some down right bitchiness on here.

i know an older lady who has to wear a wig, she spends her life agonising that people may realise that it IS a wig, i shoulf imagine that for someone as insecure etc as VB it must be devestating to have the whole world comment adversly on her apperance.

and before you all twitter, i KNOW she chose the lifestyle, as did all the so-called celebs, i KNOW that the lifestyle will be called into question, that judging will go on etc

oh well, go then, flame me

I feel sorry for her too.
I may wish I was thinner but would never want to look so gaunt and ill, she obviously has a serious eating disorder. Would not swap my life for hers.
