Advice on what to wear tonight please ladies?

I'm going to a very posh wedding tonight but i am not posh or rich so I can't afford a new outfit so please can someone tell me what to wear?

I have a similar version to this (it's colourful)

or I could wear a black and white maxi dress? (which makes me look tall and thin but is a bit plain)

Colourful dress is always nice at a wedding and if it's the evening you can go quite dressed up.

Sorry the fabric of that dress makes it look cheap. Maxi dress with fantstic accessories? (cuff, necklace, shoes, bag)
