lol

I think other savy shops are seeing the Boden effect - and getting on the bandwagon so to speak

Majeika · 05/09/2008 16:11

ladytophamhatt · 05/09/2008 16:19

Boden is doing Orla Kiely this year IMO. Too similar to not notice. The stem print design, the bags and wallets are almost the same style as OK last year, the bright berets, the rain hats and even the mugs!!

I am a bit disappointed that Boden needs to copy another designer, but it is great for those of us that cannot afford the read thing.

ladytophamhatt · 06/09/2008 07:08

Huh...I thought my fake boden clobber would be far more impressive then 8 posts.

I might sulk today.

tesco have boden looky-likey girls velour stripey dress (with tights) and a tshirt with a butterfly appliqué on the front and stripey sleeves.

IMO the best way to dress boden-stylie is to fake it (or get a sale bargain )

MrsJohnCusack · 06/09/2008 09:02

it's the way you wear 'em, obviously. You must just scream BOden

how is that baby? Haven't seen any pics lately. If my DS is 18 months ( [gulp]) yours can't be far off 2 . how did this happen?

maidamess · 06/09/2008 09:06

2 people thought my £8 cardigan from Asda was from Whistles. You are right ,it is how you wear things .

The most expensive thing can look like a piece of old toot on the wrong person.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 06/09/2008 09:09

Gawd that was confusing.

You have the spot style in the dandelion print yes?

Loving the print, does the hood stay uo in the rain [hopeful]

ladytophamhatt · 06/09/2008 10:22

other way around BALD.

I have the dandelion style in the spot pattern....

Ummm I think

Maidemess - I need more info on that £8 asda cardie!

MrsJohnCusack · 06/09/2008 10:57

he's still yummy LTH
I thought he was much older than my DS. isn't it funny how slowly time goes when you're that pregnant.

maidamess · 06/09/2008 12:57

cornsilk, Ok I will search for said cardi online to get a pic...

maidamess · 06/09/2008 13:04

Can't find it, but its from the 'Moda' range, and has a lovely crinkle look to it, with a teal an dgreen stripe detail around the waist and flowers everywhere else.

And i got one exactly like this in TK MAxx for £12 that freinds thought was

whistles

this is the nearest thing to the asda one

cornsilk · 06/09/2008 13:39

Blimey that's really nice! Hope my asda has them in! I got an ace pair of trousers from asda half price for £7 - dead comfy and look good. Saw a really nice mac there as well. I am a convert! Used to always shop in GAP, FCUK, Coast etc. What a fool I've been all this time.

maidamess · 06/09/2008 14:48

Well, have a look at this. if it was in Jigsaw or Kew it would be at least £60 I reckon.
cheap as chips
