Need funky cardie to go over empire line tops - any ideas?

Thank you MN-ers for your excellent style advice so far.. I've bought a few of your suggestions and covet most of the rest!

All I need now is a cardie that I can throw over stuff and goes with anything, but works ok with empire line tops which I'm now wearing to cover saggy tum.

Opinions on this one? Wouldn't work with empire line, would it?

Not sure yours would fit over empire line tops and IMO chunky knits add inches.
