Hi

Can anyone recommend a good shampoo to get chlorine out of hair post swims - oh and a conditioner that will help avoid the post swim scare crow look?

Cheers!!

I swim 5 times a week! I love kerastase nectar thermique but I didn't find their shampoos a great help tbh plus they never lasted any longer than supermarket stuff.
(I have thick thick long highlighted hair)
I did find red ken conditioner better
Also I use a treatment once (maybe twice some) weeks.
I ve used the boots swim / gym shampoo to get the chlorine out, followed by red ken conditioner seems best leave it in as long as possible then rinse.
Try stay away from stuff loaded with sulphate as they clog your hair and weigh it down
If I have it sometimes I bring coconut oil or Argan oil with me to the pool and put it on the ends if hair before swimming (but make sure to wash out after) and only use a little else you ll be forever washing it all out!

I realise this is a zombie, but it's relevant to me now so I'm resurrecting it.

I've just started swimming quite frequently (injured runner).
I have shoulder length hi-lighted hair. I have just bought myself a swim hat.

Can someone recommend the best shampoo and conditioner?

My hair is more prone to being dry rather than greasy. I have lots of lots of it, giving the appearance of being thick, when actually it's just lots of normal/fine hair.
