Blimey.A real change from usual fare of gold dancing shoes (for annual Rotary Club shindig in Harrogate) or patent low heeled turd coloured affair to be accessorised with thick ankles, perm and American tan tights.

CashmereKate · 27/08/2008 18:14

They are very Queeny. Or else "my first high heels"-ish

morningpaper · 27/08/2008 18:14

i presume no-one has said how horrible these shoes are because its cod's thread.

Well i will i wouldnt be seen dead in either of those linked, they look like old ladies shoes.

Sorry ladies I'd rather stand the pain

I am so with you mosschops. Mind you, I totter everywhere in ridiculous heels.

Perhaps it's a sign of age when you buy shoes like the Queen's.

I saw some flat patents that looked nice in Clarks today and said to dd, 'they look nice' to which she replied at the top of her voice ' but you said this shop is just for old women with no teeth.' I swear everyone in the shop turned to look at me which is quite an achievement as the store was packed and resembled a jumble sale.

piratecat · 27/08/2008 18:57

were those the wine coloured ones?

twinsetandpearls · 27/08/2008 19:02

No they were pink I think. Cod I totter about in heels and them keep my slippers under my desk. Lesson 5 I often teach in my slippers. The kids are always saying to me why not just buy sensible shoes miss?

andiem · 27/08/2008 19:05

I have the purple mary janes bought today and very comfy they are too
will be my school run shoes for the winter

Saw some very cute bright pink flats in there the other day but didn't have time to look as we were on the nightmare that is shoe shopping for dd1 outing.

Teaching and high heels really don't mix; in fact, I normally chuck my shoes in a corner as soon as I get in the classroom and then barely put them on again all day. If I ever have a cover lesson with pupils who don't know me, they often say "Miss, someone's left their shoes here".

Pity their website is so crap; I feel like I want to have a good browse now.
