Ooh! gorgeous! That is much cheaper than my Boden one

maidamess · 21/08/2008 16:19

I know! I was sooo chuffed when I found it. And the hood doesn't make you look like Obe 1 kanobi either.

flipflopper · 21/08/2008 16:39

its a bit errr plasticky isnt it?

maidamess · 21/08/2008 16:40

Well, its 'patent' rather than 'plastic.

Look, do you want to stay dry when it rains, or don't you?

OP posts:
flipflopper · 21/08/2008 16:44

sorry

Mercy · 21/08/2008 16:50

I like it!

Does Primark stock smaller sizes? (I've not been to one yet)

MarsLady · 21/08/2008 16:51

I have one in red. It has polkadots on the inside. It's lovely and loses the "plasticky" feel after you've worn it once. I get lots of compliments about it. I adore it!

Heated · 21/08/2008 16:51

Will need to see it in the flesh, but if it comes in navy blue it will go with the stylish wellies I've ordered (if that's not an oxymoron).

And you promise it looks ok with the hood up?

maidamess · 21/08/2008 17:00

Yes, it looks great with the hood up. I have a huge head and it suits me.

It comes in a green colour too, but I preferred the blue.

Mercy Primark goes from an 8 I think up to an 18?

OP posts:
Mercy · 21/08/2008 17:10

Thanks, 8 is what I need

CountessDracula · 21/08/2008 17:11

It looks like something a toddler would wear!

It doesn't when its on. Its the epitome of style in the rain.

maidamess · 21/08/2008 17:14

mrswolf, you've never looked in Primark? what, ever?

OP posts:
Flightlite · 21/08/2008 17:57

We don't have a Primark either. Meant to be a cosmopolitan centre of culture and excitement and we haven't even got a sodding Primark. That is wrong isn;t it?

maidamess · 22/08/2008 07:23

Oohh, I'm going to enjoy wearing my raincoat today

Nbg · 22/08/2008 07:40

I'm off to get one next week.
I've heard loads of people saying how nice it is.

You watch, they'll have sold out by the time I get there.

maidamess · 22/08/2008 07:59

Well, nbg there were not many left in my branch. Bon Chance!!

OP posts:
Nbg · 22/08/2008 08:08

We don't have a Primark where we live but we're staying with family next week and the plan is to get one there and if not, cry like a spoilt child.

I'm going to an open air concert next Friday. I neeeeeeeed one!

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 22/08/2008 16:23

I looked for this in 2 different Primars today and it wasn't in either.

FIightAttendant · 22/08/2008 16:29

Has anyone found another waterproof hat though?

I like the idea of this but am not paying £19 for one. No. I am not.
