I'm considering my purchases. Seen some nice bits around. Have so far bought a purple felt brooch. Anyone else?

I bought a purple top for a wedding and asked dp as we were leaving what he thought and all he could come out with was you look like a big grape because I am pregnant.

Then he said not in a really bad way as you could expect I felt like a twat the whole day.

My sis has just brought a lovely pair of purple patent flat shoes with a sort of buckle on the front from Clarks - looked great with her jeans (she also got the purple handbag that sort of matches them!)

Can't find picture of them but they are much nicer than the way I have described them!

Is it back in? Great news, I'm knitting a purple scarf although it will probably be totally out of fashion by the time I finish, as I've made slow progress since June.

God no, I refuse to be dictated to by women in their 30s who still use the words 'fierce' to describe something in vogue. (Yes ladies from Grazia, I am talking about you)

Don't start reading them, they are dreadful mags, although I do like the pics in Vogue, as I do love fashion, I just never wear it. Am not a 6ft tall willowy supermodel, so most of it is not designed with me in mind.
