I was tempted by the cloud spotter mac in Boden, but not sure if it's going to be a bit plasticky and shapeless?

I want something pretty and lovely and waterproof and longish for when I am walking to nursery in the rain.

don't relly know where to start looking though

this joules one is nice saw it in yellow and it's nice

MehgaLegs · 18/08/2008 20:51

Let us know what it's like Flightlight - I can't get back on the website now. really want to order one.

Flightlite · 19/08/2008 06:50

Will do Meg - though it says it can take 10 days to deliver..

I think the Joules one is a nice shape but it says 'showerproof'

Do we trust showerproof, girls...I think the thought of drippy shoulders says no

There are several raincoats on GudrunSjoden I think - they didn't have pics of all the colours though. I like the empire line/maternity shape one though!!!!

Have also ordered flowery jersey dress in 'curry' red and some tights. The tights department is v. reasonable isn't it?

Should we tell Cod?

Flightlite · 19/08/2008 06:51

Megs do you want me to order it for you, if you're having trouble?

Flightlite · 20/08/2008 13:50

I got my Boden Cloudspotter - I really like it! Much nicer than I expected - lovely green cotton lining, well made...only thing I worry about it is the buttons pinging off like last year's model, but we'll see. It is shapeless but it's supposed to be - I find the shape fine. Fits over everything but not enormous and bulky iyswim.

Very pleased and don't want to risk returning it in case they don't have my size in the sale!!

Now what to do with the Swedish one when it comes...

Flightlite · 20/08/2008 13:51

Btw I am usually one for subtle colours and don't like to look gaudy - this is really nice, cheerful but the colours are autumny and muted. (Green and purple spot btw)

Bobbiewickham · 20/08/2008 14:54

I got a lovely one from Noa Noa the other day. It's black with white spots. I like the shape of it most of all - it has a proper nipped in waist and nice bell shaped sleeves, iykwim. Like a proper coat, rather than a cubicle.

Spendy, though.

brimfull · 20/08/2008 15:02

bobbie-can you get noa noa online anywhere, can't get it around here

Bobbiewickham · 20/08/2008 15:13

Right, I am going to attempt my first ever link.

Try...

  • 4k -

Has it worked?

Bobbiewickham · 20/08/2008 15:14

Arse.

What did I do wrong?

Bobbiewickham · 20/08/2008 15:15

Will try again. Hang on.

www.noa-noa.dk

Any better?

Bobbiewickham · 20/08/2008 15:16

Yay!

I would just like to point out that the mac on the opening page is not mine.

maidamess · 20/08/2008 15:17

Well done Bobbie!. Welcome to the world of links...its a slippery slope now.....

Bobbiewickham · 20/08/2008 15:17

I don't think they do mail order, after all that.

Sorry.

brimfull · 20/08/2008 15:18

wey hey well done
thsnk shame they don't sell online

can't see the raincoat though

Bobbiewickham · 20/08/2008 15:25

No, well, you'd be hard pressed to see any of the clothes on that arty farty website.

Tbh, it's not a million miles away printwise from the kid's one...I do wonder if I look a little zany in it.

For "zany" read "daft".

I've gone off it now.

Bobbiewickham · 20/08/2008 15:26

Right, click on the link, then click on "look book" and the spotty mac is there.

I like it again now

Because I obv look just like that thin model in it

maidamess · 20/08/2008 15:28

Its a wierd website alright. No prices! I like to know how much things cost. Nice clothes though, and the fashion show is worth a watch.

Flightlite · 20/08/2008 17:47

Ha ha, I like 'cubicle'

Nbg · 20/08/2008 17:55
Flightlite · 20/08/2008 18:41

Nbg it's seriously very very nice! I had no hesitation at all when I unpacked mine. I just thought, yes, how lovely!' and tried it on and it was still a yes, how lovely. So I'd be keeping it on my list if I were you

Flightlite · 20/08/2008 18:42

And you kind of give it shape by wearing it. It naturally goes in under your arms and so on, it's really fine - I never pay full price for anything but this is worth it.

Rhumba · 20/08/2008 19:56

am very tempted too Flightlite. Got soaked today doing the school run had an old cagoule which meant my trousers still got drenched and didn't even look good. How did you find the sizes one review seemed to suggest they were quite big. Wondered about the red/burgandy one and think it looks quite snazzy!

Flightlite · 20/08/2008 20:04

Hiya, I think I got a size 10 as I'm usually that - it's fin, spacious enough to fit over everything so probably is a bit big re a normal 10. But I think it's about right.

HTH! Yes the red is nice
