... and the Printed Swishy Skirt is still drawing me to it.

I like the LBR and MBL.

What do you guys think?
Do any of you have these skirts?

Thanks in anticipation,

at 13.50 whats not to like?

cornsilk · 16/08/2008 19:30

I like it too. Am off on hols soon but might order it if it's still there when I get back.

forkhandles · 16/08/2008 19:34

I like it too, but I like the PRP !!

forkhandles · 16/08/2008 19:38

Also like the Double Layer Printed Skirt and the Ruffle Cotton Skirt

fishie · 16/08/2008 19:43

i have earlier versions of swishy. they were good when i was fatter but now too long unless with heels. nicely made though and good swish.

GemBean · 16/08/2008 20:03

I have the MBL one, really like it, but Im a size 12-14 and went for the 14 but its pretty generous so wish I'd got the 12. I only wear it with heels, looks bit frumpy and too swishy without.

forkhandles · 16/08/2008 20:45

BTW put M373 in the discount code box and you'll get free delivery!

girlnextdoor · 16/08/2008 21:15

I have got the swishy green fruit salad- it's ok- but the cotton is slightly stiff- not really as swishy as he makes out!

They are also a generous fit- I got an 8 and I am more like a 10 round the waist.

I think it looks too stiff to be squishy and also very obviously Boden, though that prob doesnt worry you.

Forkhandles, is the free delivery with a free return as well?

I wouldn't call is swishy- it is a full skirt, but the cotton is not as soft as many I have had from Jigsaw etc.

blackrock · 17/08/2008 13:10

I went on holiday to Padstow a few weeks ago, and it looked a bit like a Boden photo shoot. Even at 13.50 I am not sure i can shop there ever again....lest I be categorized with Trquin and penelope's Mater and Pater!

PoorOldEnid · 17/08/2008 13:28

no boden for me

am off to salcombe for bank hols and we are planning a spot the boden drinking game in the pub

Piffle · 17/08/2008 13:36

dbl layer printed skirt is gorgeous
I have it in sulphur and wear it with brown or white
Always get compliments
It fits large side I got 10 and loads of room in waist which is odd as last year I had to send a 10 back and get a 12?

Wuxiapian · 17/08/2008 14:19

Piffle, is the dbl layer printed skirt really full?

I have waist/hips issues and really don't need any extra inches.

I know these skirts were out for spring/summer, but, do you think they could be worn through the autumn, too?

Perhaps with boots?

OP posts:
Piffle · 17/08/2008 17:31

not the dbl layered one it's really light cotton
I have hips and it gives me some so guess it has tummy panel pleated and the kicks out on hips or just below in my case!

Wuxiapian · 17/08/2008 20:06

Hmmm... decisions, decisions...

Wonder what this one's like...

Or even perhaps this.

Why am I so weak...

I don't know about the free returns. I wasn't expecting it to work at all really. It's really for £10 off code when you spend £30 (with free delv & returns) in the new no sale stuff. I'll let you know when it arrives!
