Bare Minerals - a genius product or emperor's new clothes??

I think I like them, but can't quite decide. I think it maybe all about the brushes.

Anyone else use them? And what have you got?

I have the 'Get started' face kit and the basic eye kit. I find the powder liner a bit odd.

The myriad other all-over-face stuff strike me as a bit of an over-investment.

'pinions please!

I love mine, I only really use the foundation and blush though.

It did take me a few weeks of going back and forth between that and a liquid foundation before I felt completely comfortable with it but now I can't imagine using anything else.

I buy it off ebay as its much cheaper, £14 there as opposed to £40 on QVC

My friend loves the eye liners and shadows etc but I've not tried them.

I do like the skin rever-upper and the skin brightener too.

ok, so i used to buy bare minerals make up in the states when i was still there and recently self ridges just started selling it in london. i've always liked it, but don't think it's particularly better than prescriptives brand foundation/concealer and stuff...but it does the job and looks great in pictures.

my favorite is their blush in 'true' and the mineral veil. the spf foundation powder and the different shades aren't the greatest but i do use them. also, if you're not careful with the primer it can look caked on...but i'm sure you make sure to remove your make up better than i do sometimes. i've found that kabuki brushes leave a better finish.

Haven't tried the Bare Minerals, but I'm loving the Lily Lolo mineral makeup atm.
