Need to lose this 16mth post natal bulge not helped by 15mths severe spd limiting exercise and a not very healthy appetite for lager.
I am ok weight wise tbh 5ft 6 just under 10stone with big humungous norks.
But I have the pot which I hate and amjust untoned generally

I eat really healthily and have dropped 1.5kgs already butbulge remains
I amable to exercisenow as spd has healed

Is 2 mths enough time?
There will be ex friends there and one ex boyf... Need to be trimmer!

Right- this always works for me, however unfit I am to start with. Visble results in 6 weeks.

Cut out ALL booze.
Fill fridge with fruit and carrott sticks.
Get decent running shoes. Go to proper running shop (not "sports shop" that sells mostly branded hoodies)

Running - 30 mins, 3 times a week. If you can't run for 30 mins, start by running for 1 min and walking for 3 for 20 mins in all, and build time spent running/reduce time spent walking from there (see Runnersworld.co.uk and realbuzz.com for schedules).

I find that doing thsi, I end up eating more, but if I'm sensible, I loose laods of weight.

PILATES!!!

PILATES!!!

PILATES!!

Sorry to shout, but this in tandem with aerobic fat burning stuff and sensible eating will help no end. It is all about working your core and focusses on your abs. There are classes in Sleaford Piffle, or you could be a tightwad like me and use DVDs.

Piffle · 19/08/2008 15:38

okies
Do a pilates based workout 2x week
Do davinas 1-2 x week
No booze!
I would kill to run but I cannot due to enormous tits painful (no sports bra can keep them secure enough) and also due to the pelvic problems running is not safe right now
I used to do triathlon aged 19 so miss miss miss running.
I might try fast walking light jogging and see.
I have simply added some nuts and eggs to the mix
Snacking grapes pistachios almonds

Yummy cannot do classes due to dpswork committments

just remember that those snacks you are having- grapes and nuts are high in calories- grapes have a lot of sugar and nuts have a lot of fat.
Better subs would be veg. sticks.

Piffle · 19/08/2008 17:19

I need the sugar from the grapes for my blood sugar
I only eat about 3 a day
Also nuts about 6 a day

Today
Special k 1/2 banana milk

Lunch minestrone and pitta plus 5 pistachio nuts

3 grapes
Cucumber 4 slices

Dinner is chicken curry but I make this myself with spices and thigh fillets so very lowfat meal. Plus salad on side

Pretty lean food no?
Lunch was 300cals all up
Dinner works out at 500 cals plus whatever cals in spices
So I'm pretty low methinks?

You are low on protein- and your body may take it from muscle ...so watch out!

The only protein is in your chicken, the breakfast cereal and your milk. You need 30 grams a day.

I'd suggest you have more protein at breakfast- a boiled or poached egg is only 80 cals.

Or if you stick to cereal at breakfast, have some protein with your lunch- tuna or sardines with salad, cold meats, )lean) or pulses- lentil soup, hummous etc.

You are also probably not getting enough calcium- not a problem for a few weeks but you need a mininum of 800 mgs a day- I'd say add in a plain sugar free yoghurt at lunchtime, or after dinner.

Gnd
I vary days
I to have low fat Greek yoghurt most days with berries for afternoon snack. Had run out today!
Also for lunch I often have poached salmon with salad
And also have poached or scrambled eggs for breakfast or lunch.
Today was empty cupboards, they are now full of yumminess again!

I also add sesame seeds to salad as they are high in calcium.

I have do little muscle LOL I'd hate for it to be wasting!!

I'm trying too- am on August dieters' thread and just had a bad day felt very off colour and pigged on a few things- back on track tomorrow I hope .

Piffle · 19/08/2008 21:56

I feel a fraud as simply mildly out of shape... But you know your right size I guess! I'm trying to reach mine

TigerFeet · 19/08/2008 22:02

lol at needing to be in damn fine shape for ex bf

sounds like you eat really well Piff - keep the exercise up and you'll be fine

I wish I had half of your willpower

girlnextdoor · 19/08/2008 22:02

I only want to lose 2kgs- but sometimes I think 2stones would be easier- a few pounds is hard when you don't over eat anyway- it has just crept on over 5 middle-aged years!

Piffle · 19/08/2008 22:11

well ds2 16mths ago had a bearing... Lol
Not willpower so much as hot blooded pride. That and fear of a swimsuit.
The ex boyf is a ruse, he is of no consequence whatsoever, BUT that said, you know I want not to be a puffy mum of 3 there!
