Do you like this jacket (for men)?

DH is in desperate need of a decent one to wear to work.

Was going to get him one for Xmas and my mother can bring it over from the US when she comes in November. It's free shipping because she's ordering one for my Xmas, too, so it would only be about 50 quid.

thisone

Or this one

He really needs an Autumn/Spring one as his is getting pretty tattered about the wrists.

He's more the rugged type, not the suited and booted type.

Nice or meh?

C'mon! I know men's jackets are boring, but the poor bloke is running around in a 4-year-old Adidas one that has seen better days.

He never complains. He always works hard for us.

I like the first link.
Looks warmer and more substantial
What colour do you think?

traceybath · 10/08/2008 15:18

second one definitely

traceybath · 10/08/2008 15:19

more stylish

DarrellRivers · 10/08/2008 15:19

Although I can't understand why you're not opting for this?
[confused emotion]

The shale/black one to go with his uniform.

Poor soul. He really does need a new jacket, especially if he gets this purser job he's going for on the ferries.

Might do it for his birthday in October instead.

i really wanted him to wear these to keep his feet warm, but he's way too manly Scottish.

Don't show him the nubrella then
I think the first one just looks warmer and more practical

expatinscotland · 10/08/2008 15:25

this isn't a warm place to live, but he doesn't seem to feel teh cold they way i do.

I reckon the first one too - because it's more versatile - he can wear just the outer one, or just the inner one, and both together in the winter.

traceybath · 10/08/2008 15:46

first one is practical but also looks practical.
