That is, i would like to say it. But I can't because it's so horrible...

JackieNo · 08/08/2008 09:30

Scrolling through the pages, some of the plainish tailoring bits are pretty nice looking. It's when they add pattern and ruffles etc all over the place that it all goes horribly wrong. How unflattering is this even on a moggle.

JackieNo · 08/08/2008 09:33

Anyone speak Italian? Nonna shirt - doesn't Nonna mean 'grandma'?

WilfSell · 08/08/2008 09:33

Per Una... It's like Nancy Dell'Olio and Lisa Scott-Lee have been let loose in a Versace scrapbook but with fabrics from Ethel Austin.

Grim.

All you need to complete the look is one of the clashing nylon vomit-fests from Bravissimo and you're ready for your night out at the all you can eat Chinese Elvis buffet.

JackieNo · 08/08/2008 09:34

lol Wilf. so true.

Pinkjenny · 08/08/2008 09:36

Oh, yes I will certainly be giving my 'look the Per Una twist'.

Revolting. Completely revolting. And there's never anyone in the Per Una section! They just use that till when the others have queues!

SilentTerror · 08/08/2008 09:40

What is Stuart Rose thinking of?
Who buys this stuff?

Bumperlicious · 08/08/2008 09:41

Wilf, you get there before me with the Nancy comparison! Like it!

I feel like I am going to vomit up my morning smoothie!

Megglevache · 08/08/2008 09:43

What a briliant thread title. It has started my morning with a guffaw.

Celery · 08/08/2008 09:50

And all our mother in law's will be wearing it at this season's weddings. Well, mine will be anyway. And her friends.

itsMYmummy · 08/08/2008 09:57

i would look more normal wearing top shop saturday night specials than this stuff

and why do they have everything such weird lengths

zippitippitoes · 08/08/2008 10:27

their designers are clearly a bunch of women who had nothing to do when bingo halls closed down and they all went to the local college and studied textiles together

Per Una is designed by an ageing hippy who thinks we all want to look like the 1970's Cadbury's Flake girl. A bad look when you're over 25- a very bad look when you're over 35.

Megglevache · 08/08/2008 11:18

for the cruise market I mis read that!

I like the idea of a market you cruise at.

cremolafoam · 08/08/2008 13:20
