IMMAC FOR A 10.5?

i posted last yearabout my my neice having a tash and wether to wax, the answer was no. so i met them on hols and took some joleene, ds bleached it for her and she felt a little better about it.

she is on hols again and texted me to say she has a huge blonde tash and its making her cry. im off to see them next week shall i tae a facial hair remover. any other ideas?

anyone?

What a shame - any idea why she has it ? ie a little on the young side ?

I would get rid of it, maybe with hair remover cream, take her to the drs in case of any problems & then book her into laser treatment & get it dealt with.

Poor thing. I don't know what you should do but it is obviously upsetting her a great deal. What do her parent's think?

IMHO too young for messing about with beauty things at only ten.

not really a beauty thing, its really affecting her. shes like me hairy.my ds nows its a problem but doesnt now much about it, shes hairless. will take some over and leave it to ds to decide.

I really sympathise. My daughter is 11 and has a Frida Kahlo-ish tash and mono brow. I think she is just perfect and beautiful the way she is but she hates it. (she isnt a girly girl at all - v.sporty) I actually think she is old enough now to decide and last weekend she bleached it for the first time. she feels so much more confident!

It is a horrible thing to have to contend with as other children can be so, so mean.

I have the same problem and always have since I was a child, My Mum used to use Jolen on mine from a young age (about 10)but I wax now.

I have used the laser treatment but really is no good unless the hair is very dark and thick (like armpit hair) which isn't what you get on an upper lip, so was useless. And I spent about £200 on laser treatment.

I also have an 11 year old dd, she was being teased about her hairy legs and it was starting to affect her self confidence so I bought some immac for sensitive skin and we did her lower legs, different girl now, she'll wear shorts again and the teasing has stopped. It's not about beauty sometimes it's about their self confidence and self esteem.

Actually, thinking about it, it's not just children who are mean, adults can be very rude, and comment as well.

True, I remember one of my Aunts commenting on my hairy legs when I was probably the same age as dd, (a long time ago now!) she said "you want to do something about that, it doesn't look nice" I asked my mum if I could shave them and she said no, but I still did anyway as I'd become paranoid about it.

I get comments from adults on my 3 year olds hairy lip. She is going to have the same problem as me and I feel so so so so sorry for her, because I know how heartbreaking it was to be teased about it.

agree with taking her to the docs. immac might not be suitable for skin that young. what about that threading they do for eyebrows? would be less painfull than waxing or plusking but still remove the hairs.
