stephla, did you order the blue boy's anorak as I got mine this morning and think I'll swap for the orange. The lining on the blue is so bleugh, really. DS about to go into reception, I hadn't even thought of unkind comments about his coat, just so hard to find anything that's not brown/khaki/camo for boys.

joliejolie · 09/08/2008 02:17

I just ordered the orange anorak for my almost three-year-old. I think it looks fantastic!

SammyK · 09/08/2008 09:58

I cannot believe the prices!

Even if I cold afford to spend this on ds's clothes I never ever would.

joliejolie · 09/08/2008 12:26

I had a £10 voucher, so it was only £20. TBH, I am not buying much from Boden this year because the prices are ridiculous considering what you get.

accessorizequeen · 09/08/2008 12:57

same as me, jolie. I don't mind buying a coat for £20 as ds2 & ds3 will use it too and boden lasts forever. I buy several of the l/s tops every year half price as they're such good quality and look nice wash after wash.

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 09/08/2008 14:48

wHERE can I get a £10 voucher from? Love one of the coat's for dd but £35 is a bit much.

MrsMattie · 09/08/2008 14:52

£26 for kids jeans. Yeah riiiiiiiiiight.

joliejolie · 09/08/2008 14:53

I referred a few friends for my voucher, but I do also have one for £10 off a £30 spend that I used to buy a few more things.

Here is an entire thread for codes and there may be more added over time.

joliejolie · 09/08/2008 14:54

I know MrsMattie, but they do last for ages and it is perfect for passing on to younger kids.

Don't think I would spend as much if I did not have so many children!

wessexgirl · 09/08/2008 14:55

Same here, joliejolie, I've just ebayed some of the Boden stuff my dds both wore - it is still in perfect condition and bidders go mad for it .

joliejolie · 09/08/2008 15:09

That is another bonus. The last time I put some of my Mini Boden on Ebay, they sold for almost as much as I originally paid...even after two kids.

I look at it as an investment!

wessexgirl · 09/08/2008 15:10

Quite! Now I can use the money I've earned to buy new stuff from the autumn range .

newpup · 09/08/2008 15:32

Hi, I ordered a few bits in the sale and I noticed the quality was not quite as good as last year, the material is thinner and the sizes smaller. I have held off buying anything from the Autumn range as I do not want to be disapointed in the quality. I do not mind paying more for good quality that DD1 can pass on to DD2 in a reasonable condition.
My DDs had those tight fitting pjs last year, I ordered them a size big and they were still really small. They shrink a little in the wash too . I might buy them each a pair of the cord baggies as they lived in those after school last year

I love the spotty boot slippers but can not justify that much money on slippers!

Got mine today, and love it all:

This for dd1.

These for dd2:

Velvet hoody dress

Embroidered top

Funky jeans in red

Not noticing any reduction in quality with these - though the proof will be in the washing.

Still waiting for the two-pack of footless tights for dd1.

milge · 18/08/2008 19:32

boys baseball boots - fab, keeping

College Zip through - fab, keeping

vintage layered polo - awful, going back. Really thin quality jersey fabric, with cuts in the collars and cuffs. Really disappointed.

selee · 19/08/2008 13:15

I get stuff for my boys from Mini Boden and this season we love the Vintage Hoody, especially in the moss green, it is very, very soft and goes with all the trousers, and it casual but well-made.

The padded two-in-one padded jackets also very well-made, looks really great and are lovely colours this year, they seem to fit well on too.

Also loving the rib-waist cargos, easy for little boys to take on and off and also mega comfy! Quite tough (but not hard) trousers. Love the army colours and the brown. They fit my slim-waisted kids well. The army ones go very well with the brown stripy hoody.

The monster t-shirts are fab and age appropriate for little boys too as are the stripy applique t-shorts (the red and green are our faves).

Lastly the grey colour washed down cargos are simple straightforward trousers but look funky with the pockets and have the adjustable waistbands.

Think thats it!

hana · 19/08/2008 13:21

I ordered 5 things and they came in 4 seperate packages - that's why their prices are so high!

ordered funky duffel for dd1 (gorgeous) and the padded puffer coats for dd2 and dd3. All good sizes. And some tights too

angelgirl23 · 29/07/2017 19:08
