Big flowery patterns?

Polka dots?

Plain green?

What do you think?

OP posts:

these

PeaMcLean · 03/08/2008 21:37

They're ok. That was simple wasn't it!

They have to go with a brown coat though I think. that's my warm waterproof I'll be wearing in the evenings when camping. I know I really really shouldn't worry about colour co-ordination when going to a loo block in a field on a wet evening, but you know...

Pale blue ones perhaps?

Hunters.
It's the only way to go.

Sputnik · 03/08/2008 21:40

How about these

Blondilocks · 03/08/2008 21:41

these!

Blondilocks · 03/08/2008 21:43

Although perhaps pink ones would go better with a brown coat?

PeaMcLean · 03/08/2008 21:43

£55!!!!!

Now, the blue I've just decided I'm after is the nice one when you open the shocking £55 link!

Do you feel like a grown up when you wear flowery ones???

OP posts:
PeaMcLean · 03/08/2008 21:57

pale blue but too dull???

A few at Joules if you have v large or v small feet (presumably new styles/sizes will ones in after the sale?). Or Boden.

Hulababy · 03/08/2008 22:04

Try Primark.

I got a pair of red wellies, with a white floral type pattern on them, recently. Just £8 a pair. Wore them recently on a camping evening even thing. Perfect.

PeaMcLean · 03/08/2008 22:12

thanks for the joules link they've got these in turquoise.

I'm after some wallpaper the same as those boden ones

PeaMcLean · 03/08/2008 22:14

Bugger. No they haven't, sold out.

I love the Boden ones in blue - they'd be fab with a brown coat!

willali · 04/08/2008 08:34

Any colour / pattern is "try hard" IMHO - plain green Hunters will last a lifetime and go with everything

barbamama · 04/08/2008 10:47

I've got brown hunters - cut above the flowery brigade imo

butwhybutwhy · 04/08/2008 10:52

I like these

They come in pink too.

Flightputsonahat · 04/08/2008 10:58

No! No patterns! Get some Hunters. They are the business.

I think Lapin has four pairs or something outrageous.

Bronze · 04/08/2008 11:02

Hunters are really good but I guess it depends how much you're going to use them (in aubergine which is a lovely purple really). Mine get a lot of use in crap and mud so are well worth the money seeing as they last for years but if its for the odd rain shower then probably best to go cheap and cheerful

Flightputsonahat · 04/08/2008 11:04

I got my Hunters on ebay for £12.99. bargain tastic

sherbetdipdab · 04/08/2008 11:05

Can I just whisper that the local neds around here have started wearing patterned wellies with their shell suits instead of trainers.....It looks very bizarre
