we really are not doing the 'wedding thing' just going to the registry office, no guests, lunch afterwards

I really want to wear just a sweet summer tea dress kind of thing so what do you think of this

not sure on shoes yet, or if anyone has seen any other nice little summer dresses around please link

thanks

I love it

Cammelia · 01/08/2008 21:42

And Congratulations

georgimama · 01/08/2008 21:43

If you're a size 8 with small norks and long legs then you could wear a sack cloth and look fab. That dress is very pretty. Congrats!!

PeaMcLean · 01/08/2008 21:43

With that body you could wear a sack and look fab. Great frock. have a lovely time

onepieceoflollipop · 01/08/2008 21:43

Beautiful. Have a fab day.

oi · 01/08/2008 21:43

are you quite slim? I think the only danger with dresses like that is that they can make you look a bit preggers.

Bowddee · 01/08/2008 21:43

Very pretty. Go for it.

PeaMcLean · 01/08/2008 21:43

snap!

oi · 01/08/2008 21:43

ah yes, have now read the size 8 bit .

georgimama · 01/08/2008 21:44

Lovely dress, but we all hate you for being a size 8 with long legs
Have a wonderful day xx

Lizzylou · 01/08/2008 21:53

God, you will look fab!
Size 8 with long legs....he's a lucky man!
Have a wonderful time

halogen · 01/08/2008 21:54

I really like it. We're doing the exact same thing in a couple of weeks and I have literally no idea what I'm wearing so I'm v impressed that you have actually chosen something so nice and bargainous. At this rate, I'm going to end up wearing jeans.

gigglewitch · 01/08/2008 21:55

it is lovely.

you asked for ideas too (even though i think the one you have picked is really perfect)
take a look here - saw it the other day in RL in the shop and it looked gorgeous. and this and this in oasis.

so now you can go back to the original one and

traceybath · 01/08/2008 21:55

Gorgeous dress!

You will look stunning! You could spend a little extra on fab sandals and underwear.

zippitippitoes · 01/08/2008 21:57

sounds lovely looks lovely

katz · 01/08/2008 21:58

very pretty dress

was in monsoon on thursday and they had a couple of nice white sundresses, mostly size 8 in their sale. might be worth a look if you have one local.

sherby · 01/08/2008 21:58

ohh i'm like this now

will look at links in a mo, eating dinner

OP posts:
gigglewitch · 01/08/2008 22:09

yes katz i got one of those in Monsoon y'day (am also size 8) but now can't find any on the website . if you have a branch handy it might be worth a look. Also bargain territory, mine cost £27.50 even tho it was marked at £40

katz · 01/08/2008 22:13

gigglewitch - there were some lovely dresses, the sale twas depressing for me - i was looking for size 14's none of those to had, though i just wanted a nice dress for my hols.

sherby · 01/08/2008 22:15

frigging hell size 8 sold OUT

OP posts:
Pannacotta · 01/08/2008 22:16

Its lovely.
If your DP is appy for you to spend more why not splash out on some gorgeous accessories, say a lovely necklace, shoes and bag?

sherby · 01/08/2008 22:17

love the two oasis ones

none in size 8
