my DH is shaved......he has lost all his hair on the top of his head tho and it looks far better for him to shave the rest off!

I do agree with regards to some boys....some suit it but many don;t.

out of my sons tho, DS1 last year wanted to be like his dad, so DH agreed.......I was utterly devestated, and he looked 'thuggish' IMO. luckily his hair did what hair does best and grew back, and he is back to a grade three with a flick again.

I think it looks ok on men but I con't like it on young boys. I did it to DS a couple of times but now hate it. I do DH as he is balding.

Poor ds2, he cant have it too short but also hould never grow it long.
His hair grows in all directings.
He'll curse it when he's a teenager

My dh looks like a thug with shaved hair. He'd like it but I have said NO!

Agree, looks crap and Ross Kemp like, but even worse when shaved head is paired with just one earring.

I think it depends on the head really. DH shaves his because he prefers his baldness to look deliberate rather than an accident of fate. He has lost most of his hair by 26 so not much choice really - other than wear a toupee. Where do you stand on toupees cod?

Most Buddhist boys have their heads shaved, and girls also if they take vows to be nuns. I'd hardly call them thugs!!

I find small boys with dull looking long hair very depressing to look at, especially if they have pale moon faces. Better to eat some omega 3 oils, and have shiny hair, or shave it until better nutrition kicks in
