yes

used to wear them when i was little they had those stirrups inder your feet

ProfYaffle · 25/07/2008 15:11

Do they? My Nan used to say it.

motherinferior · 25/07/2008 15:11

I once referred to an ex as wearing them - they really were slacks.

It's like panties. Nobody in real life wears panties. Do they?

so what, you used to cry: "Mother, mother today I shall choose my own outfit, fetch me my slacks?"

OK I'll rephrase that, has anyone used them in adult hood to describe a garment one would actually consider wearing oneself?

ugh

what about 'blouse'? Just thought that I never say that, only shirt (unisex)

motherinferior · 25/07/2008 15:13

Yes, I thought that about blouse too.

Also discreet makeup. As opposed to er what?

suzywong · 25/07/2008 15:15

whorish paint
to answer the deliciously small-footed MI

Just remembered my Nan also used to have costumes, to my disappointment she never entered a room dressed as Yogi bear or anything, they were kind of matching skit and jacket type things.

Bumdiddley · 25/07/2008 15:17

I use 'action slacks' regulary.

They refer to the shapeless, baggy, tracky bottoms I wear when mooching around the house. They rarely see any action

EffiePerine · 25/07/2008 15:22

what about slip?

suzywong · 25/07/2008 15:23

slut slip as in the one Elizabeth Taylor wore for almost the duration of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof.

Does anyone know where I could get one, btw, with properly sized cups?

I'd love one, or two, it gets very hot here and I could see myself swanning around the lounge in them
