What colour shoes to wear with pink dress?

Hi. I am going to a wedding on saturday. I have a gorgeous pink dress but dont know what colour shoes to wear with it, any ideas please?

clashing is the big thing at the moment isn't it. Pale pink or deep/rich pink? If shocking/deep pink how about gold, purple. If light/pale pink - silver, pewter?? Not an expert though, someone might be along soon....

I have bought this dress and am going to get some black satin peep toes or some black heeled sandals if I can find some...dont know if that helps?

It's like a bright pink colour. i dont think red would go, maybe gold. Not sure I am daring enough to wear a bright colour clashing shoe!

I would wear silver or black with pink.

Is it a day wedding or late afternoon?

If it is a really bright pink dress you may want to consider cream sandals if it is a day do, if it is late afternoon/evening I would go with silver.

My dd had a dress in that exact colour for her prom, and wore strappy silver high heels with it. Looked fab. Coast do shoes in the same shade of pink, but we thought that might look a bit bridesmaidy.

Silver or gold. Pref silver though.

If you want to be traditional about it, I 'd go for the silver or gold sandals

If you want to be a bit more startling I would go for dark red shoes, or a dark green even

But if you want to be understated and stylish, I would go for a light tan leather or suede sandal, either a heavy wedge or a more delicate shape

I would steer clear of black or white, monochrome and colours look very very first time round 80s (unless of course that's the idea).

I'd go for silver.

i just realised i am wearing a pink and white gingham dress, and i have brown suede stilettoes on with it

i think it looks alright
