i got measured in la senza yesterday and she said i was 38 dd!! i was wearing 42 b. i got measured in marks and spencer a couple of years ago and they said i was definately 42 b/c depending on the bra.
these dd fit lovely, but i cant get my head around how
i thought the b's fit well, but the dd'd fit better

Norkmaiden - and none remotely taken!!
(But I am still at you for having norks. There should be some system whereby those with a surplus could hand some over to the very needy...)

And don't get me on to people with wavy hair...(mine could not be straighter, and I hate it!!)

any independent bra/lingerie shop is better than high street, they know what they are doing, rigby & peller is out of my league, but I always go to a shop that just sells bras/knickers, where the staff really know what they are doing, and it is worth it.

but (if you're as shameless as me) you dont actually have to buy at R&P just get measured and then go away to "have a think" after getting them to write your favourite model/style number down..... Then head for t'internet!

I was once measured at M&S and told I was either 34D or 36B - even at that point I thought that doesn't make sense. If they get your back measurement wrong, they're going to get the cup size more wrong, as it's about the difference between your measurement underneath and across the fullest point.

I bought three bras when I went to R&P

A white one with smooth cups but a slight pattern, A nude coloured t-shirt bra, and a nude coloured one I could wear strapless. £115 for all three which I didn't think was too horrendous and boy are they worth it, I look so much better in them than the ones I was wearing. I do still have my cheaper bras for everyday round the house use though
