about to post pics on profile just now.

This is for a dinner dance I'm going to soon.

Both were lovely.

I love your red shoes.

Podrick · 20/07/2008 10:02

Nailpolish's styling idea for the first dress is hot - big earrings instead of a necklace!

You need one or the other though, definitely!

Also a good clutch bag.

I also like the red shoes!

I prefer the second one, If I can be blunt the first one makes it look like you have big hips that from the look of the other picture you don't!

I alos love red shoes.

Flier · 21/07/2008 09:29

spaghettiarms, do you mean the green one makes my hips look bigger?

Doodle2U · 21/07/2008 09:31

Green one. Other one washes you out.

LisaLessLumpy · 21/07/2008 09:37

I think it makes your boobs look bigger, I wouldn't say it makes you look hippy

hatwoman · 21/07/2008 09:52

I like the second one best - though I agree it's a bit day-timey. the second is more fashionable, looks nicely fitted (a front-on pic would be good). the first one is too floaty for my liking, a difficult length (neither short nor long) and the two colours of it are too far apart, iyswim. and I agree with spaghetti, it doesn;t do your figure justice. it would be ok if all one colour but the shape of the colours does something odd with yur hips. all imh and out-voted opinion .

Gobbledigook · 21/07/2008 09:58

Umm, the first one looks nice on you but I don't really like the dress iykwim.

The second dress is nicer but I wouldn't wear those shoes - I'd wear higher sandals, not closed in shoes.

I agree with naily - I'd go for 'statement' earrings rather than a necklace.

Get a good salon tan.

For a dinner dance the first one is best. The second one I'd wear in teh day - agree with others.

Flier · 21/07/2008 10:08

well, i'm still deciding, but i'm definately getting a fake tan. Would Nailpolishs' idea of the drop earrings work equally well with the cream/red dress?

Gobbledigook · 21/07/2008 12:04

I think so. With a strapless dress I prefer 'big' earrings to a necklace. For me, the neckline of the dress and your shoulders is the look, iyswim, and it doesn't need anything else.

I'm a 'less is more' kind of person though anyway and necklaces just bug me!

gothicmama · 21/07/2008 12:08

I prefer the cream and red one love teh shoes

orangehead · 21/07/2008 12:10

The green one, I love green at the mo. You have a lovely figure

Flier · 21/07/2008 16:33
