Short hair picture from about 5 years ago, was based on Victoria Beckham style when she got married . Not a great photo unfortunately.

Or long hair picture from 5 minutes ago.

Stay long or go short again?

A thousand times SHORT

giddykipper · 15/07/2008 21:18

So do you reckon short then?

Thanks gang, taking photos down now.

you know... i think your face has a modigliani thing going on. i'd be inclined to play up to that with a very, very short bob (although no fringe if you're hair's fine, unless like me you're prepared to take it right back to the crown). kinda kristin scott thomas-y. see how short? even this is too long on her as you can see how fine and quite shite her hair is. when she has it longer she always rollers it.
there are so many great products out there now to sleeken hair, i'd make a virtue out of your shortcomings, iyswim?

giddykipper · 15/07/2008 21:34

I'm worried a bob will be too much like hard work, I don't have much time for styling in the morning. Long hair is (too) easy, often I just let it dry naturally. I'm thinking that with a rough crop (like the Sharon Stone one) I can probably just put some magic product on it and blast it with the dryer.

i think a Good Bob (and for that you may just have to abandon your hairdresser in favour of the person who does the next woman you see with a Good Bob on the street. i just ask when i see them, they're few and far between) is fairly easy to manage. i deffo blast mine with no product and then a bit of serum, or if am super-rushed just slick on some serum and tuck it behind my ears. it's when it gets longer that there's more to do, imo.

girlnextdoor · 15/07/2008 21:38

there are bobs and bobs- i was thinking ear lobe length maybe and all choppy- meg ryan-ish.

Ladytophamhatt · 15/07/2008 21:41

put them back up and I might break the trend by saying long

giddykipper · 15/07/2008 21:43

Go on then, I've put them back up.

Shorter, but not as short as the other pic. Plus you need a fringe.

triffictits · 15/07/2008 21:49

most definately short - so much better and suits your face shape so well

Ladytophamhatt · 15/07/2008 22:19

Oh yes, I agree....short suits you much better

ExterminAitch · 15/07/2008 22:27

okay, i'm going to say it though. not the same haircut as before, there's a touch of the kd lang's about it. very 90s.

giddykipper · 15/07/2008 22:38

'Twas about '97 now I come to think of it. Not quite the 5 years ago I thought it was. Where do the years go?

MaryAnnSingleton · 15/07/2008 22:48

giddykipper · 24/07/2008 15:26
