I think a pale gold high-heeled sandal would work fine.

The one I bought has sold out now, but it's a canary yellow silk/linen mix one.

Pale gold sandal for that as well, do you think? Don't wan to buy new shoes...

oh, I think I know the one you mean, its a lovely colour. Pale gold I think may be okay, or do you have any black - that would also work.

Don't have any black shoes: loads of colours.

Have an aversion to black.

Think I'll just go with the gold. No-one really looks at your feet anyway, do they?
