m and s are not good a making bras for bigger boobs imo

woodenchair · 12/07/2008 11:19

I agree beetroot. Haven't found a bra that fits me in M&S in the last 20 years.

RubySlippers · 12/07/2008 11:19

M & S bras are rubbish

haven't bought one from there for years

colditz · 12/07/2008 11:22

They take more material to make, why wouldn't they cost more? A 5 year old's jumper is dearer than a 6 month old's too.

weblette · 12/07/2008 11:36

But if you follow that logic with bras, why not apply it to all clothes then - pricing according to size. Can't see that charging more for a size 16 top than a size 10 will get them many customers...

Debenhams is much much better for bras anyway.

paddingtonbear1 · 12/07/2008 11:38

I don't come into this category, but I gave up with M&S bras anyway - Triumph are much better fit!

hmm 34a here But they're always sold out of nice ones in that size.

BUT , i am paying a tax for being short cos everytime i get a pair of trousers taken up that's about 8 or 9 pounds..

More shorter length trousers . now I will take to the street with a placard for that cause! Any takers?

Piffle · 12/07/2008 14:27

dd is damned small IMO
given that average cup size is up to c/d cup allegedly... seems a little shitty of M+S

Piffle · 12/07/2008 14:27

busts for justice?
pmsl I'm googling Right Now

SpangleMaker · 13/07/2008 14:06

I was measured yesterday (not at M&S I hasten to add) and went from 34C to 32E

was absurdly pleased, but now I see it is a ploy to make me pay more!

AuntieMaggie · 13/07/2008 19:28

I managed to find some brilliant t-shirt bras for bigger sizes last year, so bought one in each colour, but the white one is looking a bit grey so went back to get a new one and they stopped doing them!!!

I don't think they understand that when you are an F cup you don't need padding, as all their t-shirt bras seemed to have it!
