Hair Accessories for 2 year old

What does everyone do about hair accessories for children under 3? DD is nearly 2. Has lovely, curly but unruly hair which often gets in her eyes. Now and again I'd like to put her fringe back, but every hair accessory for children I see, be it clips, fabric alice-bands, the plastic type alice bands, hair ties etc all say that they are for age 3 and over.

Are there any accessories out there suitable for 2 year olds, or does everyone else just ignore the labels?

(DD likes to put everything in her mouth and will find optimum ways of making mischief with every object she touches, so I don't want to be exposing her to any unnecessary risk just for the sake of her having neat hair IYSWIM...)
