Anyone got their Boden sale stuff yet?

Mine just arrived. Very nice, now I just need better weather and a halterneck bra.

I've got it Whizzz,in ivory and purple.Is nicer in RL than catalogue.

Won't buy Boden anymore, sale or no sale. Have found their stuff too disappointing - badly cut jeans, poor quality knits.

I love the look of it in the catalogues though.

I just had a dream that they delivered my stuff, but the skirt was horrid, far too long (dragging on the floor) and they had sent me loads of stuff I hadn't ordered and it was all horrible

I really liked it- though it might be a bit long but it's great. The material is very soft but the sizing is quite generous- I am between an 8 & 10 - got the 8 and it's amply big- so you might even want to goa size down.

I've never ordered stuff from Boden before, but happened to like a few things in their sale. Even got the confirmation email (with the cop-out line 'sales chaotic, in rare instances things out of stock, blah blah). Email arrived last night, and package this morning. Two out of three items missing as out of stock. Two out of three doesn't seem that 'rare' to me. Is their customer service always this bad? You'd have thought that in these days of computer based stock control, etc. they could manage to offer a slightly better service than that which I have received.

complain to boden - I only got 1 thing in my order and complained on the grounds that with the p and p it made it nearly full price. I got refunded p and p and ten pounds off my next order!

I ordered this in peony on Monday. Still waiting.

They have just emailed to say they have sent my order out. Fingers crossed.

My chic textured cardigan ordered on Tuesday arrived this am just in time for rare night out with DH (hurrah). The fabric is lovely and soft and the sleeves are a great length.

Does anyone know when the Boden sale prices are reduced further????

Got mine today: here's my report:

Printed swishy skirts: ugly and weird. Had to look back in the catalogue to remind myself what I thought they would look like.

Spotty tea dress: more cleaning lady's overall than kooky vintage glamour. Also made my moderately proportioned behind look hooj.

Fizzy spot skirt: nice fabric and pattern, not 100% sure about the cut, think I should have got the long, but will keep.

Overall, generally disappointed and have told myself not to order from there again, but I'm sure the next catalogue will come and I'll get excited and have unrealistic expectations again.

The trouble with me is that I'm rubbish at shopping in shops, so when a catalogue comes with pictures of pretty people in pretty locations making the clothes look so pretty, I get fooled...

Oh yes, and two of the things I ordered were unavailable. Oh well, I probably wouldn't have liked them!

girlnextdoor: no, it was the spotty/stripy patterned ones. I ordered the blue and the purple and they just looked funny and hung funny. Maybe it's just me!

ive got the green fruit salad one on today and I have to say it looks rather good - not worth the original full price but great for sale price.
