These are nice but are totally the wrong colour

I agree with fimbo(theres a surprise, us agreeing on shoes) on the carnivals links, and have tp say the same about lisalesslumpys too......no no no no

Tutter · 07/07/2008 14:45

you have to wear strappy sandals/wedges with that dress, sorry

Tutter · 07/07/2008 14:47

colour may not be quite right

you have to go cream or red really, don't you?

Tutter · 07/07/2008 14:49

or possibly

LisaLessLumpy · 07/07/2008 15:06

The colour on the dress is a much brighter pink than it looks on the picture. I would personally go for ivory strappy sandals, which is what I would have worn had I bought the dress

LisaLessLumpy · 07/07/2008 15:08

I like your link to the first dune sandals tutter, but the pink is darker than that. You really need to take the dress out with you I think if you want to match pinks.

Is it a 'day' dress or evening wear? I was picking sandal-type things for a summer's day dress iyswim - a barbeque or a walk in the park type of arrangement

Flier · 07/07/2008 16:06

wow thanks for all the responses.
It's an evening "do".
I think a deep red shoe/sandal will suit the dress. Was in town again this afternoon looking and still can't see anything, so will deff have to buy online .

I actually love the red shoes I linked to, but like most people know in my heart of hearts that they are not the right shoe for the dress.
